The primary objective of this course is to create a
framework for the account manager to apply in his or her daily work and a result
build, maintain and grow successful customer relationships.
Key Account Development and Management tools and techniques can be applied
across different business models and customer sectors. The participants will
have the opportunity to apply the concepts learned to their unique business
through application exercises and group work.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Apply the fundamental and critical elements of
being an effective account manager including how to successfully
manage the relevant duties and responsibilities required to build
and maintain long-term business partnerships
Apply the key principles of strategic account
planning in order to develop long-term relationships and maximize
opportunity
Initiate cross-selling opportunities within the
existing account portfolio and identify and pre-qualify potential
new business wins
Determine and implement a client’s requirements
and identify the key elements of standard operating procedures
Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key
Success Factors (KSF) in conjunction with clients
Understand the communication and reporting
requirements of a successful account manager
Identify how to maintain service excellence and
manage service issues on an exception basis
Apply all of the learned skills during the
Account Management and Development Workshop
