This workshop provides a working knowledge of business finance for the logistics and supply chain professionals. Every business has its critical numbers and they are the vital signs that determine the business's success or survival. In today's global management, there is a need for these professionals to have a sound business judgment to better understand the impact of these critical numbers on their business performance.
This unique workshop using a business board-based simulation is designed to allow the participants to learn business by doing business. It takes the participants to experience and cope with the same level of challenges that face the senior management of a company.

Alfred Cheah
Alfred Cheah is the Partner of Intrac Asia, management training and consulting firm. Working with our valued partners, Intrac provides interactive business learning and innovative performance solutions for organization development needs.
He is a trained and accredited facilitator from USA and Germany for their Strategic Business and Supply Chain Simulation programs. Some of his corporate clients include senior executives and management in the multinational companies such as Coca Cola, Panasonic Asia, BASF and Banta Turnkey Global. He has also designed and delivered programs for professional associations including The Logistics Institute, Asia Pacific (A collaboration between the National University of Singapore and the US-based Georgia Institute of Technology) and the Malaysian Institute of Management.
As a certified trainer in Australia, he currently provides logistics and manufacturing training services to Australian companies in a wide range of industries - Industrial Packaging, Rubber, Plastics, Polyurethane Foam and Sterilization processing.
Prior to Intrac Asia, he has worked in few of the Singapore-based companies as their Executive Director and co-founder. He brings with him 20 years of management experience from several of the multinational companies in regional operations, business development, supply-based management, ERP/SCM technology deployment and consulting services for the High-tech electronics, Distribution and Publishing industries across Asia.
He received his Australian Bachelor of Business from the RMIT University and holds a Master degree from The Macquarie University, Australia.

• Refunds and Cancellations •
A 50% refund will be made for withdrawals (received in writing) ten working days before the commencement of the course. No refunds will be made thereafter. However, a replacement will be accepted upon prior arrangement at no extra cost. Please inform us of the changes, if any, by fax. The Logistics Institute - Asia Pacific reserves the right to cancel the course and fully refund the participants their fees should unforeseen circumstances warrant it. Every effort will be made to inform participants of any changes. While every effort is made to present the course as advertised, circumstances may make it necessary to alter the schedule and/or presenters.
