Assistant Director (Research)

You will be leading a team of researchers in logistics and supply chain management projects. You will also assist the Executive Director in developing the Institute's research capabilities and outreach to industry. In addition, you will establish project deliverables and project plan and manage the project in consultation with agencies and industry partners. You will manage relationship with agencies, industry partners and university staff on an on-going basis. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and is a joint appointment with the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Requirements:

• PhD in logistics/supply chain management, industrial engineering or any other relevant discipline
• Proven track record in post-graduate level research
• Familiar with logistics and logistics related developments both globally and in the region
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• At least 2 years relevant industry experience

A competitive compensation package, commensurate with qualifications and experience, will be provided. The appointment is for 2 years with possible renewal thereafter.
