Managing Global Supply Chains

Supply chains are increasingly more complex and global as companies aspire to support a variety of strategies. Managing a supply chain is therefore a demanding activity that requires a thorough understanding of the concepts and mechanisms that underpin the operation of the supply chain and the factors that influence its performance. The module provides an understanding of the essential facets of supply chain and its management in the global environment.

Day 2
• The global supply chain
• Global logistics and transportation infrastructure
• ASEAN, China and India – what you need to know in managing global supply chain
• Optimizing the global supply network
• Managing service and customer value
 

Day 3

• The green and sustainable supply chain
• Cases and examples in managing global supply chains

Module Certification:

Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion in Managing Global Supply Chains, issued by TLI – Asia Pacific

Module Duration:

3 days

Intake(s): 20 - 22 October 2009

Module Fee:

   Individual module: SGD 2,500 per person
   ECSCM programme: SGD 2,250 per person

Funding Support:

Subsidy from the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) is available, subject to terms and conditions.  Please refer to section on “Funding Support” for more details.

Remarks:

This is a compulsory module for ECSCM Programme participants.
